ADUs in North Hollywood
North Hollywood is part of the City of Los Angeles, so ADU permits go through the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS). LADBS runs an ADU Standard Plan Program with pre-approved plans, including a free city-owned one-bedroom design of 455 square feet. Pre-approved plans shorten plan check, though the city still reviews your specific site.
